Aubergine Restaurant It is said that the simplest thing in the world is to prepare baked aubergine stuffed with onions, garlic, tomatoes and sweet peppers. Yet, when the Priest, whose wife created this dish, first tasted it, he fainted! Hence, this famous Turkish dish is called “The Priest Fainted” or “Imam bayıldı” and became the inspiration for our restaurant’s name, Aubergine. Aubergine Restaurant is open daily all year round for breakfast, lunch and dinner or for just tea/coffee & cake. Children are welcome in our restaurants both for day or evening. We are pleased to cater for large groups and host special celebration parties when we can personalise your evening by organising cakes, table decorations or even your favourite music.
